The Family Portrait
The family portrait is more of a historical document rather than a representation of what the family is now.  The “family” is dynamic and is constantly changing and evolving, whether we want that change or not. One moment you have no kids and the next you have 5.  Kids change constantly as they grow up and they eventually move out and on. The family may split, like a cell dividing, and then eventually becoming two separate families.   The family portrait is not made for us but for our kids, and for them to look at in 20 years when the family dynamic will have surely been changed.  Below is the gallery of families that we have photographed in 2008, 2011 and we are adding 2017 images as we shoot them. As Photographers we should not procrastinate the documentation of our families and ourselves.
